Torbay constituent towns -
Paignton, Torquay, Brixham.
The Torbay Methodist Circuit is a group of eleven Methodist Churches (including two joint Methodist and United Reformed Churches) established in the following centres of population - Brixham; Dartmouth; Kingskerswell; Paignton and Torquay. The Circuit is staffed by three full-time Methodist Ministers, two full time United Reformed Ministers, a full time Methodist Deacon and a Non-Stipendiary Minister. Each church has it's own leadership, styles of worship and weekly programmes. But the Circuit is there to encourage the churches in their local mission by means of an overview, recruiting and training preachers and other leaders, initiating work in new areas by means of financial assistance. The Circuit is greater than the sum of the eleven churches and enables smaller ones especially to continue their witness. Torbay Methodist Churches actively support LiNX a Christian Youth Trust interactive church initiative in Torbay.
