NCH was founded in 1869 by a Methodist Minister - Thomas Bowman Stephenson.  From a small beginning NCH has developed and now has more than 460 projects nationwide, helping more than 89,000 people!

Within Torbay and the surrounding area there has always been a very strong support for NCH - especially within the Methodist Churches.

The following events give an idea of the varied effort that is put into fundraising!  If you would like to know more about fundraising or joining a local Support Group (that can be great fun!) please contact us.

On behalf of Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church the Coordinator will do everything possible to make ‘Carols Down the Line’ enjoyable.  However, reservations are accepted on the express understanding that Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church and the Coordinator are agents in acquiring the services of others, and are therefore not liable for any delay, damage or other inconvenience however caused.

Part of the proceeds of this event will be donated to NCH (The Children's Charity)
(
Helping the children who need it the most - the child care charity of the Methodist Church)

Please support the work of NCH in whatever way you can.

'IT' is changing how we live, work and play and 90 per cent of jobs now require direct interaction with computers. Unfortunately, some of the children with most to gain from 'IT' have the least opportunity to access it and that is why NCH is launching its 'IT OK' Campaign.
